October 15, 2003Robert J. "Bob" CliffordRobert J. "Bob" Clifford, age 42, of Minneapolis, died Wednesday, October 15, 2003, at City of Lakes in Minneapolis. He died following a courageous battle with a lengthy illness with many friends at his bedside. Memorial services will be held on Saturday, October 18, 2003, at 11:00AM, at SS Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Blue Earth, with Father John Ozbun officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Blue Earth. Visitation time will be one hour prior to the services at the church. Patton Funeral Home & Cremation Service of Blue Earth & Elmore is handling the arrangements.He was born June 28, 1961, at Blue Earth Mn. the son of John R. "Dewey" and Helen A. (Reko) Clifford.He was a former resident of Blue Earth and graduated from Blue Earth High School in 1979. Later, he moved to Minneapolis where he has lived for the past 15 years. While he lived in Blue Earth, Bob worked at the 220 Cafe for many years and continued working in food service while living in Minneapolis. Bob enjoyed the company of his two pet companions Baby & Sabbath and his many friends. Bob touched countless lives and will be missed dearly by all who knew him.He is survived by his Sister: Cheryl (& husband Norman) Kolve of Elmore, Sister: Janan (& husband Lonney) Skaar of Elmore, nephews: John, Jordan & Mark , Aunts: Anna Deinhart, Alice Hugener, Berniece Reko and Martha Clifford.He was preceded in death by his Parents, Grandparents, several Aunts, Uncles and cousins.
