Clara Belle "Bea" Thoreson, age 75, of Blue Earth, died Thursday, November 13, 2003, at Parker Oaks, Winnebago. Funeral services will be held on Monday, November 17, 2003, at 11:00 AM, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Blue Earth, with Pastor Stephen Bohling & Pastor Kenneth Carlson officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Blue Earth. Visitation time will be from 3:00 to 6:00 PM Sunday, at Patton Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 400 E. 14th Street, in Blue Earth, and one hour prior to services at the church.She was born January 20, 1928, at Webster, South Dakota, the daughter of Ludwig and Frances (McCabe) Langager.She was raised and educated in Webster, South Dakota where she was a 1946 graduate of Webster High School. She majored in piano at St. Olaf College and graduated with a bachelores degree in music in 1950. She was married on June 9, 1950 to Jerold E. Thoreson at St. John''s Lutheran Church in Webster, South Dakota. The couple lived in Webster until their move to Minneapolis in 1952. They moved to Blue Earth in 1956 where Dr. Thoreson began his dental practice. Bea was a homemaker and had substitute taught occasionally. She was a longtime member of Trinity Lutheran Church where she was church organist for a short time. She was also a member of the American Legion Auxiliary and enjoyed music of all types and traveling throughout the United States and abroad.Bea is survived by her Husband: Dr. Jerry Thoreson, Blue Earth, Daughter: Ann (& husband Robert) Felegy, Kasson, Mn Sister: Ruth Varland, Rockford, Illinois and four grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, son- Steven in 1998 and a brother-Leonard Langager in 1990.
