Olivia Ziegler

Olivia F. Ziegler, age 94 of Elmore, died November 30, 2003 at United Hospital in Blue Earth. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 3, 2003 at 11:00a.m., at Trinity Lutheran Church in Elmore, Minnesota with Rev. Benjamin Buck officiating. Burial will be in St. John''s Lutheran Cemetery in rural Elmore. Visitation time will be from 9:30a.m.-11:ooa.m. at the Church on Wednesday. Patton Funeral Home & Cremation Service of Blue Earth & Elmore is in charge of all arrangements. Olivia was born November. 14, 1909 in rural Elmore to Herman & Ida (Leeck) Ziegler. She moved into Elmore with her parents in 1940 where she resided until she moved to Nicollet Place and then to St. Lukes Lutheran Home a year ago.She worked at Maland''s Grocery, Collinson''s Shoe Store and then was a telephone operator in Elmore. She enjoyed gardening, playing her organ and being an organist at St. John''s for many years. She played a big part in the lives of her family, even caring for her great nephews.She is survived by her sister Edna Goltz at Nicollet Place, nieces & nephews and friends. She was preceeded in death by her parents, and brothers, Herwin & Ortwin Ziegler. .
