Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 13, 2003, at 10:30 AM, at United Lutheran Church in Frost, with Rev. Patricia Hinkie & Rev. Ed Nieman officiating. Burial will be in United Lutheran Cemetery, Frost. Visitation time will be from 4:00 to 7:00 PM Friday, at Patton Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 400 E. 14th Street, in Blue Earth and one hour prior to services at the church.She was born December 25, 1913, at Delavan Mn., the daughter of L.S. and Olga (Holt) Wesley.She lived in Delavan, Montevideo and Mankato, where she was a confirmed at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Mankato on May 26, 1929. She was married to Erick J. Thompson on November 4, 1937 in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. The couple farmed north & west of Frost for many years, where Lois loved her flower & vegetable gardens, and raising her cats. Lois loved old time music and quilting. She was a longtime member of United Lutheran Church in Frost where she was active in ladies aide, church circle and quilting club.Lois is survived by her son, Kenneth (& wife Gloria) Thompson of Bricelyn, daughter, Elaine (& husband Gary) Rabenhorst of Mankato, grandson, Christopher Thompson of International Falls, granddaughter, Angela Thompson of Mankato and nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and a brother- Arden Wesley.
